Swans Way has a very special place in my heart. Paul Weller 's 1980s group was known as a singles outfit, but many of their best songs were actually album tracks and B-sides. Never heard of Workshy so far.will have to check it out ASAP. Polydor has released a number of Style Council retrospectives over the years, but this one is actually one of the most interesting, as it paints a relatively complete musical portrait of the band. I just love the first Working Week album along with a couple of early 12" singles like Storm Of Light / Sweet Nothing / Solo / Venceremos.wonderful stuff. Animal Nighlife or Swans Way released 1 or 2 albums but they disappeared too soon despite having very good songs. Some bands were successful like Style Council, Sade or Matt Bianco, Another bands like Working Week or Workshy released more jazz oriented stuff or only for the japanese market. It was an obvious transition after the early years of that decade. The Punks, Mods, and the Wavos were getting older and the music was maturing with them.
